Mathilde Currency

Board Member

Mathilde began her career as an elementary school teacher and after having children devoted her time to family and philanthropy.   She has served on the boards of The Lighthouse for the Blind, Louise S. McGehee School, Louisiana Children’s Museum, Camp Merrie Woode, Ogden Museum of Southern Art. In addition to serving on the Kids Join the Fight Board, Mathilde also serves on the steering committee for Walker’s Imaginarium at Children’s Hospital New Orleans.  Mathilde lives in New Orleans with her husband Richard and their three children Lucy, Frances and Jack.
