Kids Join The Fight Pediatric Cancer Family Program

The mission of Kids Join the Fight’s Pediatric Cancer Family Program is to ensure children battling childhood cancer have the
financial assistance needed for travel, lodging, meals, childcare, or any other living expenses.
Eligibility Checklist
Please review the following to determine eligibility:

Your child must be diagnosed with cancer.

Your child must have been diagnosed on or before their 18th birthday and treated before their 21st birthday.

Adults who relapse after their 18th birthday and were not previously assisted are not eligible.

Your child must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. resident with an I-551 card (green card) for at least 12 months and no prior history of the current illness.
Up to $750 in assistance per year is available.

Utility payments

Childcare

Health insurance premiums

Car expenses

Treatment-related expenses
A letter from a hospital social worker or medical professional is required. It must explain the diagnosis, family situation, treatment plan for the next 60 days, and assistance requested. Submissions must comply with HIPAA.

You and your child will not be discriminated against or denied assistance due to race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or political affiliation. All financial applications are reviewed individually. Approval depends on eligibility, Kids Join the Fight (KJTF) guidelines, and available funds.
